In 2022 when facing brain surgery, I ask the Lord over and over, “If I shall not die, Lord teach me to live.” While still in the hospital I told the Lord I would do my best all the days of my life to share this experience and many others He has held me through. Thus, this ministry began.
Born again, Holy Spirit filled walking, talking, testifying miracle of God. Having faced life with many challenges I want women to see they are not alone. I have faced challenges of a handicapped sister, sexual abuse myself, and within my family, infertility, miscarriage, being a stay at home, and a working mom, working in the church, church hurt, surviving the teen years, watching my loved ones go through divorce, caring for loved ones, an injured child, sick and hurting husband, depression, suicidal thoughts, food addiction, broken family, many years of counseling and doctor prescribed mood altering medications. I was in love with someone I was afraid of. He never hit me, but I was always afraid he would. Having the voice of the Lord coming to me in the night to not marry the person I was planning to marry. Having loved someone who later physically beat, sexually assaulted, and murdered his own child. Having been told in a dream to marry a man I had just met. Having survived and overcome a brain tumor and a craniotomy which caused nerve damage that effects most all aspects of my physical body as well as often effects my thought process too. The answer to all these life experiences is BUT JESUS. You see Jesus had a plan for me and it is my heart’s desire for women everywhere to not feel alone in whatever struggles they face. To know Jesus was not shocked nor surprised at what you are dealing with today or in your past. He is right there with your path marked to get you to the place He wants you to be on the other side of this.
Married since 1982, mother of 2 boys, who brought me 2 daughters in love, and 4 grandbabies.
I dreamed of being a homemaker and I was for 11 years. For a second income and mostly insurance I have worked Child Nutrition in 2 school districts for about 11 years, I then worked at a hospital for 11 years. I have now been with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for over 7 years. I have worked inside a prison unit, and I now work for the Parole office.
While my husband used his talents of music and teaching in the church, I have ministered in whatever ways I could. I have worked with students, youth, and ladies inside and outside the church all my life. Starting with adult worship choir at a very young age, even accepting the Lord as my personal savior in the choir loft at the age of 12. VBS, Awana, youth work, children’s church, plays and musicals, church camps, mission trips, evangelism school. I have run the vacuum and clean toilets for free and on salary. I have cooked and cleaned and filled the pantry of many a church building. Whatever was needed for the people of the church to be filled I have tried my best to do.
